Bay Scholars Virtual Luncheon

7th Annual Giving Thanks by Giving Back

Friday, November 20, 2020 12:00pm live at bayscholars.org

Save the date for our annual celebration of Bay Scholars’ mission and impact: “Giving Thanks by Giving Back” on Friday, November 20th, 2020 from 12:00-12:45pm. Due to Covid restrictions, this will be a virtual experience on our website.

From the end of February 2020 to the present moment, our world changed. Undaunted, the students who receive Bay Scholars’ financial support are continuing their studies at our Bay Area network of college preparatory schools. As they and their families experience extremely low income circumstances, your support is helping them to move forward toward college and career. Your attendance at this year’s virtual event is vital!

Join us for our main fundraising event of the year!

The proceeds from this event fund the scholarships we’ll award to students in 2021-2022. Because we’re not selling tickets for the virtual experience, we encourage you to make a donation in lieu of a ticket. Please note that every penny of your donation goes directly to our students’ scholarships as all of our program and operating expenses are underwritten.

Still want the meal we serve at our annual luncheon?

Although we can’t join together in the same room this year to enjoy the delicious Thanksgiving meal prepared by Credo Restaurant every year, they are making it possible to enjoy it in the comfort of your home — either for our virtual event or anytime from Nov. 20th-Nov. 25th for up to 6 people. Please note the purchase of the Thanksgiving meal is made directly from Credo and is not a donation to Bay Scholars. If you’d like to make a donation, please click the “Donate Now” button above.
